Eligibility for International Graduate Admissions
MS: Non-Korean with a Bachelor’s Degree
Ms-PhD Integrative Program: Non-Korean with a Bachelor’s Degree or higher
PhD: Non-Korean with a Master’s Degree

Required documents
All required documents should be submitted to POSTECH Graduate Admissions by POST no later than the application deadline.
(1) Completed Online Application
* Personal statement and research plan must be included. 

(2) Application Fee of 50 USD or 80,000 KRW
* Payments must be made online via credit card.
* Waived for students of POSTECH’s partner universities. (유스트는 면제 대상에 포함 되어 있음)

(3) Official Academic Transcripts
* From all undergraduate and graduate institutions attended
* Transcripts must be enclosed in an envelope, sealed with either the official security seal or
the signature of the registrar or representative.
* Grades must be converted into values in the GPA system out of 100 by the registrar’s office, verified with the official seal or the signature.

(4) Degree Certificates
* From all undergraduate and graduate degrees attained

(5) Two Letters of Recommendation
* Must be mailed directly by the recommenders

(6) Official English Proficiency Test Score
* PBT 550, CBT 213, IBT 79, ITP 550, IELTS 6, TOEIC 800, TEPS 680
* Scores must be sent directly from the administering institution
(POSTECH institution code for ETS: 0329) and received no later than the Application
Deadline.
* Native English speakers are exempt from submitting a score. Non-native
speakers from countries where English is used as means of education
may submit Certificate of Instruction Language for exemption.

All documents must be original and in English. Non-original copies and translations must be notarized by the issuing institution. If non-original documents are submitted, original documents must be exhibited at the time of enrollment to staff of Graduate Admissions.

Graduate of China!
Universities Applicants who have graduated from a university in China must additionally submit a “Certificate” issued at the “China Academic Degrees & Graduate Education Development Center (敎育部學位與硏究生敎育發展中心) (http://www.cdgdc.edu.cn/). Certificates can be issued online at http://www.cdgdc.edu.cn/rzgl/apply/newapply.jsp. Applicants who have not yet graduated must submit the Certificate immediately after graduation no later than enrollment to POSTECH.

If applying to Graduate Institute of Ferrous Technology or Graduate School of Information Technology, please follow their separate admissions processes. Department of Life Science offers only MS-PhD Integrative Program and requires additional application materials.
